Grow

Firm Foundation.

God builds great things on solid foundations.

If you have spent any time on a construction site, you’ve seen the building process. Materials are gathered, foundations are poured, components are integrated into the design, and eventually the family moves in.

In this message, we look closely at Ephesians 2:19-22. We hope to get some insight into how God builds stuff. How does he build a church? How does He build a family? How does He build a life?

Hard hats not required this time.

Heaven here.

How do I experience heaven here on earth?

Psalm 34:8 says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in Him!”

In this message, we take a close look at Psalm 84, a song of ascents, where the psalmist declares that one day in God’s presence is better than 1,000 days elsewhere. Heaven on earth must be directly correlated to God’s presence in your everyday life. Listen for three ways to experience God, everyday.

Blessings,
Tom

Palm Sunday

In many ways, Palm Sunday is a litmus test of our worship. Do we worship exuberantly, or are we subdued? Does our worship cost us something? Is Jesus pleased with our worship, or is He about to drive out the impurities? Take the litmus test. Your King has arrived.

Restoration - Part 2

Restoration continues with rebuilding.

Last week we discussed how restoration begins with repentance. This week we will continue on to rebuilding. Rebuilding is hard work, in fact usually far more than just building from scratch. If you’ve ever rebuilt from a loss, then you know what I mean. But the good news is that God will give us all the peace, hope, wisdom, courage, and strength we need to rebuild. Let’s talk about it.

Restoration - Part 1

Restoration begins with repentance.

Practically the entire country is asking how we can restore the prosperity of our nation. Our government leaders have surrounded themselves with extremely smart people, offering plans for everything from toxic debt to ludicrous bonuses. But is that really the problem? Or is the problem more fundamental? In this study we discover the problem is sin…and the solution begins with repentance.

Acts 16:11-40 “Partners”

In Acts 16, Paul embarks on his second missionary journey, this time with Silas. He follows God’s lead into Greece, where his efforts in Philippi are amazing. The point is this: God’s partnership with Paul guided, fueled, and empowered Paul’s life and ministry. God is offering us the same partnership today. An invitation to change the world.
